If you have never heard of this type of healing before, you are definitely not alone!
Neither had I, but, as with everything that has happened in my life – things come up and bug me until I take action to find out more.
Ever had that?
It was the same when drawn to shamanic healing – something I looked at a few times over a few years (I’m not a rush-in-to things kind of person!).
Was it about dancing around a fire naked? (Often a common view.) Not at all.
Disappointed? Just kidding! (Noting that this healing can help clear our shame and guilt which holds us back in life so much, including body shaming or dysmorphia.)
I was already practising Reiki on myself, with success, so this was a natural (didn’t feel that though at times, as with any change) next step and I haven’t looked back despite being more overtly on my shamanic path which appears more unusual to our ‘norms’ in society. To receive shamanic healing, no-one has to be on this path, spiritual or anything else – if it feels right for you, it is right for you.
The heart of shamanic healing, for me, is about getting to the root cause of issues, patterns, health conditions and blocks. It’s really that simple. If it can be cleared, returned or balanced – this is what shamanic healing does, on all layers of our being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Rune (like cards but more transformational), drum and higher perspective readings support clients with guidance and ways to move forward.
As children we are overlayed with many different and often, limiting views or behaviour patterns that just do not serve us in achieving inner peace, confidence or what ever our goals and desires may be. These beliefs or patterns that we create become our truth so we live by them, even though they may not be who we truly are or reflect our true health, wellbeing and path in life.
My own experience of working with shamanic healing started when drawn to randomly seeing (nothing is ever really random) shamanic womb healing sessions with the intention to clear patterns from our mother or father’s ancestral lines. Since I know I have learnt patterns around, for example, feeling fear due to the cult I grew up in, my anxiety was linked to my parents and I could work with this healing to begin to clear this pattern from my womb and, therefore, my whole being. I was able to not only work on myself but now offer womb healing for clients so they can benefit too and pass on the womb rite to others.

Of course, shamanic cultures have their own rituals and ceremonies which differ vastly! These may involve dressing in certain ways and chanting which can seem weird to us when we have not been grown in a culture that lives this way. It doesn’t mean harmful, however, as can often be portrayed in films etc… which often creates a skewed view of alternative ways to heal.
I have worked with clients that have never had shamanic healing before but trust me to support them in a safely held and confidential space. Clients have received regression healings to clear blocks to being where they want to be as well as cord cutting to clear negative patterns between themselves and another person, habit or situation. Some come for soul retrieval where they have lost a loved one in recent times and just don’t feel themselves any longer, with a piece of their soul often taken by the loved one as they are unsure of where they are when they this life.
This is deep, powerful work and meets the client where they are, so only receiving what the client is ready for and always for their highest good. Whilst it means diving into stuck emotions that can be difficult to feel, sometimes, it also means, these are cleared and gone, allowing more of your true self to be present whilst feeling lighter, centred, calm and ready for next steps. Fear is reduced and love is increased.
Please do get in touch if you would like to find out more about how these profound techniques can support you.
Much Love, Lisa
